After discovering yoga, Marjorie’s chronic neck and shoulder injuries improved and ultimately completely healed, transforming her practice and leading to her specialty in yoga therapeutics. Teaching yoga in New York City since 2001, Marjorie offers Private and Semi Private sessions and weekly classes and workshops which all emphasize Optimal Health and Wellness and the therapeutic aspects of yoga. For all students, including those who experience injuries and illness in their lives, Marjorie’s teaching helps students create space, stability and freedom in the body, leading to a profound state of healing, and ultimately a relaxed relationship with their body.
“Marjorie’s alignment teachings have helped me manage TMJ pain.
After taking one of her classes I was given the tools I needed to find ease in my shoulder and neck muscles. I found incredible length throughout my spine and the quality of my breath was enhanced. My home practice has deepened and transformed since I started taking classes with Marjorie.”
